A NORPART PROJECT

Safe & Sound

Safe & Sound is a Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation (NORPART). The aim is to enhance the quality of higher education in Norway and developing countries through academic cooperation and mutual student mobility.

The programme is funded by HK-dir (previously DIKU, the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education).

Abuse, neglect, malnourishment, and natural disasters constitute serious threats to childhood

You will learn how culture is embedded in human behaviour, and reflect critically about local and global knowledge.

The adverse effects are not only at an individual level, but also threaten the building blocks and structure of society.

You will learn about how Early Childhood Development (ECD) impacts the sustainability of societies, and how to contribute to a safe and sound environment that is necessary for child and family well-being.
